Qualification
SingleTrack Events take the responsibility of event production and conduction seriously and we recognise that participant experience and safety go hand-in-hand therefore is our highest priority.
As part of this approach to safety qualification is required for the GPT100 Miler, so that we can be sure that you do have the ability to participate safely.
After entering and paying, Event Director Joe Dorph will approve your application to the Miler via a confirmation email within 10 business days of registering.
You are encouraged to enter and pay for your event even if you do not have a qualifier, and submit to Joe via below email your plan to qualify before October 31 2025. Anyone who pays for registration and does not end up qualifying before October 31 will be refunded in full.

EVIDENCE FOR QUALIFICATION
Official trail running race result of 100km or more OR finished the GPT50k or one of the "Qualifiers" listed down the page, within the 2-year period November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2025.Condition that the 100k trail race in NOT a “Last Person Standing” format. This is due to the fact that they are held in such controlled conditions with regular breaks and frequent crew stops. We want people to have completed a somewhat remote, technical trail race that prepares people for the GPT100 course, and we don't believe the "last person standing" format is sufficient for this.
PROPOSAL FOR QUALIFICATION
This is required only when ‘evidence-based qualification’ is unable to be provided by the athlete.Proposal for consideration must be able to demonstrate capability and fitness. Compulsory is a link to your Strava profile or similar.

EVIDENCE FOR QUALIFICATION
This is a relentless and extremely technical race in remote locations. It is critical that you are aware of the challenge that you are committing to. There is no qualification process to enter for the Stage Race, however it is vital that you do not line up to Mount Zero without good preparation and confidence in your ability to stay safe.
At the end of each stage it will be up to our medical team to decide whether it is safe for you to continue the following day. However, it is important that you too make an assessment of your own abilities and recovery before starting each day. You may skip a day and continue the following day.

Finishers of these additional races will qualify to enter the GPT Miler
